My name is Gianni Van Schoor, a developer based in Belgium. I kept noticing the same problem across very different projects: naming something, whether it is a fantasy character, a band, or a gaming clan, is one of the hardest parts to get started on.

InstantNameGen exists to remove that blank-page problem. Every generator on the site produces solid starting points in one click, built from word banks and syllable rules I write and maintain myself, so the results stay consistent and predictable rather than drifting from click to click.

Every generator on this site runs on hand-built word banks and simple template or syllable rules, executed entirely in your browser. None of them call an external model or an API to produce a name: the combinations come from lists I write and refine by hand, checked against basic pronunciation rules before being shown to you.

That means every generator keeps working exactly the same way indefinitely, with nothing to go down or change behavior unexpectedly, and every odd-sounding result can be traced back to a specific list I control rather than an opaque decision I cannot inspect.
