Each name is built from three parts: an opening syllable, an optional middle syllable, and a closing syllable, combined entirely in your browser with no network call involved. Gender changes the sound of all three parts: male names lean toward harder consonant clusters like 'Bran' and 'Thor', female names favor softer, more flowing sounds like 'Aer' and 'Lyra', and neutral names sit somewhere between the two. Every candidate is checked against basic pronunciation rules before it is shown to you, rejecting anything with three or more consonants in a row or the same letter repeated three times, so you never see an unpronounceable result.

The male syllable bank alone produces 3,258 distinct, pronunciation-valid names; the female bank produces 3,487; the neutral bank produces 1,373. That is 8,118 valid combinations across the three genders combined, and setting gender to 'Any' draws from all three banks at once.
